The LDS church is trying to increase exposure of a video on YouTube. I’m fine with that. It is a terrible talk, and anyone exposed to logic and reason will see right through it.

This talk is full of logical fallacies: appeal to emotion, false dichotomies, fallacy of the negative premise, fallacy of irrelevant conclusion (red herring), argumentum ad hominem, argumentum ad baculum (fear), argumentum ad verecundiam (appeal to authority), argumentum ad ignorantiam (proving without proof), begging the question, denying the antecedent, fallacy of false cause (non sequitur), many straw men, proof by verbosity, amphiboly, god of the gaps, etc.It is also full of manipulative rhetoric.
